Global Outreach - TESOL Programs Program 1—TESOL Certification Semester Program $4995—120 Hour Advanced TESOL Certification + Internship/Practicum Locations:  Czech Republic & Romania Requirements:  Must be at least 18 years old with high school diploma. What’s included in the price?  Airfare*, housing, food, local language lessons, and TESOL certification Commitment:  4 Months   This program is designed for the teacher looking for a TESOL certification, overseas teaching practicum and life experience.  Come and teach in one of our ESL schools as you gain your internationally recognized 120 hour Advanced TESOL certification and teach ESL as Christian Mission.  You will begin your program with two weeks of TESOL training and cultural awareness followed by a semester of specialization courses, teaching, missions work and local language learning.  On completion of the semester you will receive a TESOL certification from Global TESOL Christian College in partnership with Global TESOL College.  There is an opportunity to upgrade your certification to a professional certificate or diploma after the semester is over.  $2498 is needed before leaving.  $832 is due once a month for three months thereafter.    Program 2—‘ESL as Christian Mission’ Semester Program $4495—60 Hour ‘ESL as Christian Mission’ Specialization + Internship/Practicum Locations:  Czech Republic & Romania Requirements:  Must be at least 18 years old with high school diploma. What’s included in the price?  Airfare*, housing, food, local language lessons, and program costs Commitment: 4 Months   The ‘ESL as Christian Mission’ Semester Program is a great opportunity to gain a Christian perspective to teaching ESL.  The 60 hour ‘ESL as Christian Mission’ specialization course is a requirement towards TESOL certification and you can transfer credit taking this program if later you decide to upgrade to a TESOL certificate.  During your semester overseas you will teach and share the Gospel through ESL and friendship evangelism as you do an independent study on teaching English as Christian mission.  This program has all of the components of Program 1 without taking the full TESOL certification workload.  On completion of the semester you will receive a certificate in ‘Teaching English as Christian Mission’ from Global TESOL Christian College in partnership with Global TESOL College.  $2247 is needed before departing.  $750 is due once a month for three months thereafter.       Program 3—ESL Practicum/Internship $4395—1 semester, $5995 two semesters Locations:  Czech Republic & Romania Requirements:  Must be at least 18 years old with high school diploma.  Romania school requires TESOL certification or equivalent. What’s included in the price?   Airfare*, housing, food, and local language lessons Commitment:  4-8 months   This program is designed for the teacher looking for an overseas teaching practicum or someone who’d like to check out what ESL ministry is all about.  Come and teach in one of our ESL schools as you gain valuable teaching and ministry experience combined all in one program.  You will begin your program with one week of cultural awareness, ministry/lesson planning and your first local language lesson.  You can stay for one or two semesters and at the completion you will have a certificate stating the number of hours you spent teaching ESL from Global TESOL Christian College in partnership with Global TESOL College.  $2197.50 is needed before departing.  $732.50 is due once a month for three months thereafter.       Program 4—Czech Republic ESL Teacher $800/month—Self Support/Fundraising Location:  Hlinsko, Czech Republic Requirements:  Must be at least 18 years old with high school diploma. What’s included in the price?  Your living expenses that may be a little higher or lower than the average of $800/month depending on personal preferences. Commitment:  Minimum 4 months   Program 5—Romania ESL Teacher $350/month—Self Support/Fundraising Location:  Tg Mures, Romania Requirements:  Must be at least 18 years old with high school diploma and TESOL certification or equivalent.  What’s included in the price?  Your living expenses that may be a little higher or lower than the average of $350/month depending on personal preferences.  We will provide your housing, airfare and utilities with a one year commitment.   Specialization Courses In Addition To ‘Hope of the Nations’ Programs $300/course—Must be enrolled in an above program or alumni of Global TESOL Christian College to receive this pricing.
